CARE‐A‐VAN considers all applications for all independent contractors, and contractors are treated during the agreement, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other prohibited basis of discrimination as provided under applicable state and federal law.

All offers of contracting are conditional to applicant passing drug test, criminal background screening and New Mexico state clearance. Permanent contracting is not offered until all above items have been completed.

Effective immediately the manner in which the company handles contracting costs for new applicants has changed. Due to high costs of processing new employees and maintaining the records of current contractors, the following fees will be the responsibility of all new applicants. These fees will be deducted from the applicants final wages should the applicant fail to complete their 90 day probationary period. This will guarantee that the company does not invest in contractors who are not equally committed to their new positions.
